Grandma Poses for Anniversary Shoot in Her 70-Year-Old Wedding Gown

To commemorate her grandparents’ 70th marriage ceremony anniversary, photographer Anna Behning’s grandmother pulled out her authentic 1952 bridal robe for a photoshoot that will be cherished by the family members for yrs.

Surprising Trip Down Memory Lane

Behning is a marriage ceremony, elopement, and engagement photographer based in Marshall, Minnesota. A few months ago, her grandparents, Melvin, aged 91, and Nancy Lubbers, 86, celebrated their seventy yrs of relationship. While browsing her grandparents, Behning had introduced her digital camera together and asked her grandma if she continue to had her wedding ceremony costume.

“Grandpa then went seeking by their tubs in the garage to dig out the gown,” Behning tells PetaPixel. “I asked Grandma if she would model it for us and to my surprise, she agreed! Then my mom introduced out grandpa’s army uniform and we snapped some pictures in their backyard!”

The spontaneous photoshoot turned into a working day complete of pleasure for the whole spouse and children, as documented by Behning on her weblog.

“I imagine grandma particularly cherished the pics, grandpa was not as thrilled to smile for the camera,” she recalls. “However, they are priceless reminiscences that our spouse and children will cherish without end.”
